Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) New York City arrested of an unlawfully present citizen and national of El Salvador May 6 who is wanted by Salvadoran authorities for prosecution of the crime of terrorist organization with aggravating circumstances.

Officers with Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Denver removed a fugitive wanted in Guatemala May 9.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a component agency of the Department of Homeland Security, working in close coordination across the Department including with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), continued to facilitate removal flights of single adults, family units, May 6 – May 10.

Ronaldo Marcos Da Silva, a 37-year-old Brazilian national who was wanted by authorities in his home country for unlawfully carrying restricted firearms, was removed to Brazil April 23.

ERO Boston arrested an unlawfully present 25-year-old Guatemalan citizen April 19 in Billerica who was convicted locally of two counts of rape of a child and four counts of indecent assault and battery on a child.

Jairo Arnoldo Matamoros Solorzano, 47, is a citizen and national of Costa Rica and is wanted in Costa Rica for rape. Matamoros was removed from Denver to the Juan Santamaria International Airport and was turned over to local authorities in Costa Rica.

ERO Boston arrested an unlawfully present Cape Verdean citizen convicted locally of repeated lewd conduct offenses. Deportation officers from ERO Boston apprehended the 37-year-old Cape Verde national in Dorchester April 24.

ERO Boston arrested an unlawfully present 55-year-old Guatemalan citizen who was convicted locally of first-degree child sexual molestation/sexual assault. Deportation officers from ERO Boston’s Providence office apprehended him in Providence April 17.

ERO Boston apprehended an unlawfully present Dominican national recently arrested by Rhode Island police for first- and second-degree child molestation and first-degree sexual assault.

Deportation officers from ERO Boston’s Hartford office apprehended an unlawfully present Bangladeshi national recently arrested by Connecticut police for sexual abuse of minors. Deportation officers arrested the 47-year-old in Litchfield April 22.

ERO Boston apprehended a Brazilian national wanted in his home country for attempted homicide.

ERO officers from the Long Island Fugitive Operations Team apprehended the 34-year-old without incident outside his residence in Hempstead pursuant to a warrant. The officers issued him a notice to appear charging him with inadmissibility. He will remain in custody pending removal proceedings.

ERO Boston officers in Providence arrested the 22-year-old Guatemalan national April 10. Local judicial authorities released the Guatemalan citizen from custody before ERO Boston was provided an opportunity to assume his custody.

Those included removal flights to Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru.

A Dominican national who was previously removed from the United States by ERO Boston has been sentenced to eight months in federal prison after illegally reentering the country.

ERO deportation officers with ERO Boston’s Hartford suboffice arrested an unlawfully present Guatemalan national convicted of first-degree manslaughter in Somers. The officers arrested the 35-year-old Guatemalan national in Somers after state officials released him following completion of a portion of his sentence for manslaughter April 24.

ERO Philadelphia removed Jorge Chavez Montoya, a citizen of Peru with a final order of removal, from the United States to Peru on April 18.

Deportation officers removed Juvenal Arroyo Hernandez, 48, from the United States to Mexico April 25.

Deportation officers removed Cindy Patricia Quintanilla, 35, a citizen of El Salvador, from the United States to El Salvador April 24.

Santos Alfredo Ixchop-Hernandez, a 39-year-old unlawfully present Guatemalan national, was flown on a charter flight coordinated by ICE’s Air Operations Unit from the Alexandria International Airport in Alexandria, Louisiana, to the La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

ERO Boston apprehended an unlawfully present Dominican national recently arrested by Rhode Island police on multiple felony drug trafficking charges. ERO Boston officers in Providence arrested the 28-year-old April 18.

On April 23, a federal grand jury returned a four-count indictment charging former Mexican citizen Felix Aguilar-Matias with naturalization and passport fraud.

David Antonio Hernandez Ventura, 26, departed from McFarland and arrived at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, where he was handed over to authorities from Mexico.

Those included removal flights to Brazil, Central America, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Jamaica and Mexico.

Deportation officers from ERO Boston apprehended an unlawfully present Guatemalan national recently arrested for first-degree sexual assault in Hartford April 18. The 53-year-old Guatemalan native has multiple criminal convictions in New York and Connecticut for offenses including second-degree strangulation, driving while intoxicated and domestic assault.
