Deputy Assistant Secretary for Management, Daniel H. Ragsdale

Daniel H. Ragsdale currently serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Management for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Mr. Ragsdale has served ICE in several roles since it creation in 2003. Mr. Ragsdale joined the former U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service’s General Counsel Program in 1996 and served as an attorney in New York City, Tucson and Phoenix. Mr. Ragsdale joined ICE’s headquarters legal office in 2006 as the Chief of the Enforcement Law Division. In 2008, Mr. Ragsdale joined the Office of the Assistant Secretary as a counselor to the Assistant Secretary.

He received an undergraduate degree in 1990 from Franklin and Marshall College, and a Juris Doctorate in 1993 from Fordham University School of Law. Mr. Ragsdale is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars.
