Special Advisor for Mexico and Border Matters, Tracey Bardorf
Tracey Bardorf is the Special Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for Mexico and Border Matters.
Prior to joining ICE, Ms. Bardorf completed a detail as the Department of Justice (DOJ) Resident Legal Advisor in Mexico City, Mexico, where she was in charge of DOJ’s Mérida Initiative projects and implementation of the Global Trafficking in Persons program. From 2005 to 2008, Ms. Bardorf served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Phoenix, Arizona, where she handled firearms, immigration, trafficking in persons and violent crime prosecutions.
Prior to entering federal service, Ms. Bardorf was in private practice for four years and, before that, clerked for Judge Frederick J. Martone of the Arizona Supreme Court. She is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, St. Anselm College (B.A.) and Arizona State University (J.D.).
