The meetings have included students from middle schools and high schools near the U.S./Mexico border, including several evening programs with their parents. Agents explain the stiff criminal penalties that can ruin their future and the dangers associated with this disturbing trend when teenagers are recruited to smuggle drugs strapped to their bodies and apprehended at local ports of entry.
