ICE arrests Port St. Lucie man charged with possession of child pornography

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents, working jointly with Martin County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), arrested Jeannie Biggs, 61, of Port St. Lucie on April 6 for possession of child pornography.

ICE HSI agents, along with MCSO and Port St. Lucie Police Department officers, executed a search warrant at Biggs' residence and seized his computer, among other materials. A preliminary forensics analysis of his computer revealed the presence of child pornography.

If convicted, Biggs faces a minimum five-year sentence and a maximum of up to 20 years in prison.

This case is part of Operation Predator, an ICE-led initiative to protect children from sexual predators, including those who travel overseas for sex with minors, Internet child pornographers, criminal alien sex offenders, and child sex traffickers.
