ICE has focused its efforts to educate the public about the plight of human trafficking victims. The agency has designed and placed anti-trafficking messages in foreign language newspapers across the United States. The advertisements are appearing in languages such as English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish and Thai in 122 different newspapers. The goal of the campaign is to alert the public about the existence of human trafficking in communities nationwide and prompt a call to action for individuals who encounter possible victims. If anyone knows or suspects someone is being held against their will, ICE strongly urges them to contact the ICE tip line anonymously at 1-866-DHS-2-ICE.
