Media Reports on Detainee Health Care: Myth vs. Fact

On May 5, the New York Times published an article about the few deaths that have regrettably occurred in ICE facilities.  Please refer to our New York Times Myth vs. Fact document for our response.  When the article was followed by an inflammatory editorial, we submitted an Op-Edit Piece in response.  Unfortunately the New York Times declined to publish it.  Also, you can read our Letter to the Editor, which also has not been published.
