The Eloy ICE office is a 1500 bed Contract Detention facility that specializes in criminal alien removals. Eloy handles both ICE detainees and BOP inmates who are being placed through removal procedings under the Institutional Removal Program (IRP). Eloy is also chiefly responsible for handling ICE Fugitive Operation Activities for the greater part of Pinal County.

Attorney Visitation Hours:
Attorney visits shall be permitted between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday thru Friday, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. A 24-hour advance notice is required for attorney visits.

To place a bond, call (520) 466-2000 for instructions. Bonds may be posted at this location, Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA):
All FOIA/PA requests (for detainees to obtain certain information in their immigration files) must be submitted on either Form G-639 (Freedom of Information/Privacy Act Request) or in letter format, and contain the original notarized signature of the subject in question. Please complete the Form G-639 thoroughly and if writing a letter, be sure to include your full name, any other names used, date of birth, place of birth, A-number, and your address and telephone number, so that we may contact you if we have any questions.

Making calls out:
Corrections Corporation of America has a twenty-minute limit for all collect calls made to outside the facility by detainees. Telephones are available from 6 A.M. to 9:45 P.M. daily. Detainees must use a calling card to place all outside calls. Calling cards may be purchased by the detainee at the facility’s commissary.
Receiving incoming calls:
Emergency and attorney phone calls will be forwarded to the appropriate housing unit through the switchboard operator (520) 466-4141.

All outgoing mail must be sealed.
Receiving Mail:
All incoming mail will be opened by the mailroom officer and inspected for contraband. Mail will be processed and delivered within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Detainee mailing address:

Medical Care:
Within facility care:
Sick call at the facility is provided to all detainees from the time of admission to the time of release. Health care staff is available seven days per week, 24 hours per day, in the event of an emergency.
Additional care:
Hospitals are located nearby in Casa Grande, Tucson, and Phoenix for emergency situations.
Money:
Sending money out of the facility:
Detainee must sign a release of funds in order for the funds to be released from his account.
Receiving money:
Cash, United States Postal Money Orders and United States Treasury Checks will be credited to the detainee’s account within two working days upon receipt. Cash, personal and business checks will not be accepted through the mail. Other money orders will be held for five days to clear funds.
