Federal Protective Service: Republican National Convention (RNC) 2004
ICE provided the second largest cadre of federal law enforcement personnel, deploying more than 200 officers in support of security and public safety efforts at the Republican National Convention (RNC) held in New York City August 30-September 3. On August 25, ICE's Federal Protective Service (FPS) deployed to New York City. ICE FPS personnel worked to ensure public safety and continuity of operations at federal facilities within the New York City area
