Please view the document published in the Federal Register (71 FR 1238) whereby the Department of State announces November 18, 2006, as the effective date for its Final Rule (70 FR 28815). This is the date that modifications necessary for implementation of the Rule were made to the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).
