Schools can admit students from one or both of the foreign student categories: Academic and Language Schools (F-1) and/or Vocational /Technical Training Schools (M-1).
6,824 schools out of the 8,607 schools registered in SEVIS are eligible to admit F-1 students only, and 892 schools are eligible to admit M-1 students only. Together 891 schools admit both F and M students.
