Summary

On Sept. 1, 2017, Jose Ramirez-Soto was arrested by the Federal Way Police Department in Washington and booked into King County Jail in Seattle, Washington, for the offenses of Indecent Liberties and Child Molestation.

On Sept. 5, 2017, ICE lodged a detainer with King County Jail.

On Jan. 26, 2018, RAMIREZ was convicted of Assault 4th Degree with Sexual Motivation.

At some point thereafter, the King County Jail did not honor the detainer and released Ramirez-Soto into the community to reoffend.

On July 28, 2019, Ramirez-Soto was arrested by the Normandy Park Police Department and booked into the King County Jail for the offense of Harassment Prevent Conviction/Threat to Kill.

On July 31, 2019, ICE lodged another detainer with the jail on Ramirez-Soto. The King County Jail did not honor the detainer and released Ramirez-Soto into the community. He remains an at-large criminal alien.

Ramirez was previously removed from the U.S. on two occasions in 2002, and voluntarily returned to Mexico in 1999.
