National Security Programs (NSP) integrate the agency's national security investigations and counter-terrorism responsibilities in a single overarching unit. NSP special agents and program analysts employ a broad range of investigative techniques to identify, investigate and disrupt national security threats against the United States. NSP also oversees Homeland Security Investigation's (HSI) participation on the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) initiative.

Mission

NSP protects our nation against terrorists and transnational criminal organizations that threaten national security and our trade, travel and financial systems.
