Edgar Omar Guzman Ferrera, a 25-year-old unlawfully present Honduran fugitive, was flown from Alexandria, Louisiana, on a charter flight coordinated by ICE's Air Operations Unit to the Ramon Villeda International Airport in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Upon arrival, he was handed over to Honduran law enforcement authorities.

According to the indictment unsealed Thursday, Jugoslav Vidic, 55, allegedly made multiple false statements in his successful application to become a lawful permanent resident, including falsely stating that his only past military service was in the Yugoslav Army from 1988 to 1989 and omitting his service in the Serb Army of Krajina and its predecessors from 1991 to 1995.

Paublo Rueben, a 41-year-old resident of Pharr, was sentenced in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas to 20 years in federal prison to be immediately followed by five years of supervised release for conspiring to sell narcotics to undercover law enforcement officials. Ruben pleaded guilty to the charges July 27, 2022.

Acting Special Agent in Charge of HSI Kansas City Taekuk Cho and U.S. Attorney Steven Russell announced that on Jan. 27, a federal jury in the District of Nebraska found Omaha resident Gilberto Aguilar-Beltran, 46, guilty of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

ERO Miami, in partnership with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Giovanni Radu, a 22-year-old citizen of Italy who entered the United States as a nonimmigrant and violated the terms of his admission. ERO Miami detained Radu in Royal Palm Harbor.

On Dec. 14, Tenescalco-Mejia entered the United States by climbing over the border wall near the Santa Teresa Port of Entry. Immigration officials arrested him and turned him over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). He remained detained at the El Paso Processing Center until his removal Jan. 18.

United States District Judge James D. Cain Jr. sentenced Garrett Michael Faulk, 25, to 21 years and 10 months in prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release. Cain also sentenced Faulk to pay restitution in the amount of $3,000.
