A Taiwanese man, who is also a U.S. permanent resident, was sentenced to 69 months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release, for bribery and forging a Chinese passport.

Gaurav Mehta, 36, and Isha Mehta, 33, both citizens of India, were sentenced Wednesday to three  years of probation and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine, following jury convictions for marriage and immigration fraud.

Aaron Martinez, 27, of Saranac, N.Y., pleaded guilty on May 10, 2011, to one count of a two count indictment charging him with production of child pornography – he was initially charged on Dec. 15, 2010. On Jan. 12, 2011, a federal grand jury indicted him on charges of production and possession of child pornography. Martinez was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Norman A. Mordue in Albany.

John Jaramillo, 45, of Albuquerque, was arrested April 24 by HSI special agents on a criminal complaint charging him with receiving and possessing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. At the time of his arrest, Jaramillo was a registered nurse employed by two home healthcare providers that provide mental health and medical care for children and adolescents.

In addition to his prison sentence Anthony Lee Gambino, 45, of Farmington, New Mexico, must serve three years on supervised release after he completes his prison sentence. According to court filings, Gambino was the owner and operator of Gambino Security Safety Corp., a security company based in Aztec, New Mexico.

Sergio Saenz-Amaya and his co-defendant, Manuel Adrian Aldarette, also a Mexican national illegally in the United States, were arrested on a criminal complaint in October 2012 after they engaged in a drug trafficking transaction with an HSI confidential informant.

Tomas Bustamante-Machado, 51, will be deported after he completes his prison sentence. During a routine traffic stop Jan. 16 in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, he was arrested after New Mexico State Police found 1,286 grams, or 2.8 pounds, of heroin in the vehicle he was driving.

Francisco Roberto Esquibel, Jr., 34, was charged in a criminal complaint filed June 11, 2015, with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. According to the complaint, APD officers found the firearm while arresting Esquibel on an outstanding warrant.

Edgar Solis, 29, was found guilty of attempted possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. He and his co-defendant, Daniel Solis-Castillo, 33, also an illegal alien from Mexico, were indicted in December 2013, and charged with cocaine trafficking.

Cory Werito, 32, of Farmington, and Rosita Toledo, 46, of Kirtland, are charged in a 10-count indictment filed June 15. Werito and Toledo were arrested June 28, and made their initial appearances in federal court in Farmington. They remain in custody pending their arraignment and detention hearings, which are set for June 30 in Albuquerque.

Donald Alvin Tolbert, 47, entered a not guilty plea to the superseding indictment during his arraignment June 20 hearing. He remains in federal custody pending trial, which is set for Sept. 19.

Joseph F. Zinkiewicz, a 72-year-old retired teacher residing in Raton, N.M., was arrested on Wednesday on a criminal complaint alleging that he distributed, received and possessed child pornography as the result of an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Joseph Ernest Purcella III, 34, from Albuquerque, entered a not-guilty plea during Monday’s arraignment hearing. He was arrested Oct. 30 on a criminal complaint alleging that he unlawfully possessed a firearm and ammunition in Sandoval County, New Mexico, April 7.
