Sofia Acosta de Caballero, 34, and Edward Navarro, 29, are named in a three-count federal indictment. Each is charged with conspiracy to smuggle goods from the United States. Acosta is also charged with two substantive counts of smuggling goods from the United States, and Navarro with one substantive count of smuggling goods from the United States.

According to court documents, Eyad Farah, 42, of Barrington, Texas, was part of a network of individuals involved in smuggling firearms from the United States to the Middle East. The firearms were concealed in vehicles that had been purchased at used car auctions in central Florida.

A grand jury in Scranton indicted Wyatt Robert Yanney, 24, for allegedly ordering and obtaining shipments of the synthetic misbranded drugs, commonly referred to as “bath salts” by mail from China in August 2015 for use and distribution in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, and in New York.

Jamie Vincent Ward, 38, of Bronson, was the Grand Dragon (leader) of the Florida-Georgia Klavern (chapter) of the Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (TAKKKK). On April 2, special agents arrested Ward and served a search warrant at his Bronson residence. During that search, they seized a loaded 9mm pistol, as well as .22-caliber, nine millimeter and 12-gauge ammunition.

Jean Claud Mills, 32, was arrested May 16, 2014, on a criminal complaint charging him with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and using and carrying a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Mills subsequently was indicted on those same charges June 11, 2014.

Olajuwon Davis, 22, and Brandon Orlando Baldwin, 22, both of St. Louis, were each indicted by a federal grand jury on the following charges: one felony count of conspiracy to damage or destroy a building, vehicle and other property by use of an explosive, conspiracy to make false written statements in connection with the purchase of firearms, the transfer of firearms to a felon, and two felony counts of making false written statements in connection with a firearms purchase.

According to court documents, Yasser Ahmad Obeid, 20, of St. Petersburg and Lebanon, and his co-defendant, Jordanian citizen Mahmoud Abdel-Ghani Mohammad Assaf, were part of a network of individuals involved in smuggling firearms from the United States to the Middle East by concealing them in vehicles purchased at used car auctions in the central Florida area, and then exporting them overseas.

Alex Martinez, 41, of Indianapolis, was sentenced to 39 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt for making false statements to purchase firearms, and then unlawfully exporting those firearms from the United States to Honduras.
