Ramon Aguirre-Ochoa, 45, is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, indecent assault on person less than 13, indecent exposure, and simple assault. He is currently being held at Curran Frommhold Correctional Facility on a $500,000 bail.

As part of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) ongoing commitment to prioritizing the removal of criminal aliens and egregious immigration law violators, 39 convicted criminal aliens, immigration fugitives and immigration violators were arrested during a two-day operation in Lexington.

The operation began March 20 and ended March 31. ERO officers made arrests in the following San Antonio Field Office cities:  Austin/Waco (24), San Antonio (62), Laredo (29) and Harlingen (38). Of those arrested, 138 were men; 15 were women.

During an enforcement surge effort the past five days, ICE Seattle arrested nearly 60 criminal aliens throughout the Pacific Northwest; 33 possessed criminal convictions, nine with pending criminal charges, but all were violators of U.S. immigration law for their illegal presence in the country.

On June 11, 2017, Sergio Vitor Fagundes-De Oliveira, 29, was encountered by the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) as he attempted to enter the United States illegally. USBP issued him a Notice and Order of Expedited Removal, charging him as being removable pursuant to the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).

A Mexican national residing in Fleischmanns, N.Y., pleaded guilty to a felony offense of re-entry by a previously removed alien. The charge carries a sentence of up to two years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

Enmanuel Tejada Santos, of El Salvador, was allegedly involved in the June 15, 2000, murder of two individuals. According to El Salvadoran authorities, Santos and a group of men allegedly assaulted a vehicle transporting goods that had arrived from the United States.

Since mid-July, Guatemala and the United States have implemented a new process to more expeditiously remove aliens without any claims to support remaining in the U.S. This enhanced cooperation results in reduced lengths of stays in DHS custody for Guatemalan citizens, while allowing the U.S. to fulfill its mission to repatriate those illegally present without utilizing resources to house aliens or manage their cases while they await immigration or removal proceedings out of custody.

Azucena Garcia-Ferniza, 22, a citizen of Mexico, pleaded guilty to one count of possessing a firearm while unlawfully in the United States. In her plea, she admitted that on May 7, 2015, she unlawfully possessed a Glock model 30 .45-caliber pistol. Her visitor’s visa had expired in February 1998.

ICE immigration enforcement agents escorted Luis Miguel Quintana-Aguilera, 23, to the middle of Stanton Street Bridge at the El Paso Port of Entry where he was turned over to Mexican authorities. Quintana-Aguilera was sought by authorities in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico, for the November 2007 murder of Rigoberto Romero Enriquez.

Jose Alfredo Leyja-Celestino, 33, was handed over to Mexican law enforcement officials at El Paso's Stanton Street Bridge Port of Entry. Leyja-Celestino is wanted for the 2014 attempted murder of Marcos Feliciano Ramirez Chon, who was beaten, stabbed and shot. Leyja-Celestino is one of three men Mexican authorities identified as suspects in the case.
