Aug. 8, 2012 – ICE seeks public's help to identify Jane Doe wanted for production of child pornography

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) urgently seeks the public's help to identify a suspected child pornography producer and to rescue at least two underage victims. Full Story

Aug. 8, 2012 – HSI investigation leads to child pornography charges for Texas man

A Beaumont, Texas, man pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography. During a search of his residence, HSI special agents seized several computers and digital storage media that contained 140 videos and more than 79 images of child pornography. Full Story

Aug. 7, 2012 – El Salvadoran felon sentenced to 92 months for illegally re-entering US

Following an investigation by ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), Jose Eligio Pineda-Parada was sentenced Tuesday to seven years and eight months in federal prison for illegally re-entering the United States after having been previously deported four times. Full Story

Aug. 7, 2012 – 12 indicted in multi-state drug trafficking conspiracy

Twelve defendants were indicted in a major drug trafficking conspiracy that involved large shipments of cocaine flown from Texas to Cleveland and to Cleveland from Atlanta and a suburb of Chicago. At least 24 kilograms of cocaine and $157,500 in cash were seized as part of the joint investigation. Full Story

Aug. 6, 2012 – HSI, Puerto Rico Police Department seize 1,048 kilograms of cocaine

ICE HSI, working jointly with members of the Caribbean Corridor Strike Force, intercepted and inspected a suspicious boat off the southern coast of Puerto Rico. The inspection resulted in two arrests and the seizure of 1,048 kilograms of cocaine, which has an estimated street value of more than $72 million. Full Story
