June 19, 2013 – HSI, Caribbean Corridor Strike Force seize 1,517 pounds of cocaine, arrest 3

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), working jointly with members of the Caribbean Corridor Strike Force (CCSF), arrested three Dominican Republic nationals for drug trafficking and seized 1,517 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than $24 million earlier this week off the southern coast of Puerto Rico. June 18, 2013 – ICE deports man wanted for attempted aggravated murder in Serbia

A Serbian man wanted for being the alleged getaway driver in a murder and attempted murder investigation was deported from the United States June 17. He was escorted to Belgrade, Serbia, after leaving Washington Dulles Airport, by officers with ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Washington. Full Story

June 17, 2013 – HSI arrests 7-11 franchise owners in illegal alien employment scheme

Two indictments were unsealed June 17 charging eight men and one woman from Long Island with conspiring to commit wire fraud, stealing identities and concealing and harboring illegal aliens employed at 7-11 Inc. franchise stores located throughout Long Island and Virginia. The charges, arrests and seizures resulted from an investigation by HSI, the Social Security Administration's Office of the Inspector General, the New York State Police and the Suffolk County Police. June 17, 2013 – TOP STORY: Cultural Repatriation in Moscow

A letter written by famous Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky dated Feb. 11, 1876, was one of eight documents returned to the Russian Federation during a repatriation ceremony. June 18, 2013 – Married couple gets lengthy prison sentences for producing child porn

A married couple from northwest Florida was sentenced June 17 on federal charges of conspiring to produce child pornography. The sentences resulted from an investigation by HSI, with assistance from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, the Pensacola Police Department and the Northwest Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
