Nov. 20, 2012 – Iranian national and his company charged in plot involving export of military antennas from the US

Amin Ravan, a citizen of Iran, and his Iran-based company, IC Market Iran (IMI), have been charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, smuggling, and violating the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) in connection with the unlawful export of 55 military antennas from the United States to Singapore and Hong Kong. Nov. 20, 2012 – Alleged leader of ethnic Albanian organized crime syndicate extradited to the US to face drug and money laundering charges

The alleged leader of an ethnic-Albanian organized crime syndicate was extradited from Albania to the United States. He was arraigned in Brooklyn on drug and money-laundering charges contained in a superseding indictment returned July 7, 2011. Full Story

Sunday, Nov. 18, CBS News' 60 MINUTES aired a story highlighting an ICE investigation and take down of the Pacific Rim "Super Cartel" based in Colombia. 60 MINUTES' correspondent Lara Logan interviews members of the HSI Bogota team who investigated the cartel, joins HSI special agents and Colombian National Police on a jungle cocaine lab raid, and films the arrest of one of the cartel's top leaders. Nov. 19, 2012 – Operation Game Over nets 13 arrests for document fraud and identity theft

Thirteen individuals indicted for document fraud and identity theft related charges were arrested Friday in San Juan and Puerto Rico. U.S. HSI special agents, worked jointly with the Internal Revenue Service, Puerto Rico Police Department (PRPD) and San Juan Police Department (SJPD) officers in an operation dubbed Game Over.
