Document and Benefit Fraud Task Forces

Through HSI-led Document and Benefit Fraud Task Forces (DBFTFs) across the country, HSI coordinates investigative efforts with other U.S. Department of Homeland Security components, as well as other federal agencies, such as the Department of State and Department of Labor. This multi-agency effort capitalizes upon the resources and authorities of HSI and its partners to maximize efforts to identify and prevent document and benefit fraud.
