On Nov. 15, 2017, ICE lodged a detainer with the Cowlitz County Jail on Zuqi Chen after he entered the jail’s custody to serve a sentence for Assault in the 2nd Degree.
On Nov. 24, 2017, Chen was released from the jail without notification to ICE.
On Sept. 21, 2019, ICE arrested Chen at his residence in Longview, Washington. He is currently detained at the Northwest ICE Processing Center pending immigration proceedings.
