The HSI SAC Newark Office is continuing an investigation of a Human Trafficking Organization operating out of San Miguel Tenancingo, Tlaxcala, Mexico. The organization has previously brought multiple juvenile females into the United States and forced them to engage in prostitution acts.
This case involves Sex Trafficking of Juveniles from Mexico to the United States. To date six defendants have been arrested and convicted. Two subjects, Luis Jimenez Calderon aka Raul, aka "El Sol", and Delfino Jimenez Calderon, aka Adrian aka "Nacho", remain fugitives. A superseding indictment was returned on September 26, 2002, charging these subjects with multiple counts of Sex Trafficking, Trafficking for Forced Labor, Peonage and Slavery, Document Servitude, and Interstate Transportation of Minors for Commercial Sex. Both subjects are believed to have fled back to Mexico to avoid arrest and prosecution.
