John Anthony Baca of Bakersfield, Calif., was sentenced in federal court Tuesday to 10 years in prison on child pornography charges after pleading guilty to receiving and distributing more than 600 sexually explicit videos and still images of prepubescent minors.

Timothy Whitaker, 46, of Baltimore, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge J. Frederick Motz. Judge Motz ordered that upon his release from prison, Whitaker is required to register as a sex offender in the place where he resides, where he is an employee, and where he is a student, under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA).

A previously convicted sex offender from Delaware, Scott Odham, was sentenced to federal prison Wednesday. From 2010 through April 2011, Odham sent repeated and frequent Facebook and MySpace messages, some of which were sexually explicit, to more than 50 high school and middle school females who lived in the western Maryland area.

Joseph Anthony Kallash was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years in federal prison for sexually exploiting a minor to produce child pornography. Kallash met a 15-year-old victim on Facebook in November 2010, while representing himself as a teenager. Kallash picked up the victim and two of her friends, who had skipped school and brought them to his home.

Thomas Leroy Griffin, Jr. was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing a child to produce child pornography following an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Over the course of about six years until August 2010, Griffin engaged in filmed sexually explicit conduct with the victim.

Between December 2011 and July 2012, Robert Marzola sexually abused a minor male at his home, and he produced images of himself and the minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Marzola saved the images on his laptop and told the boy not to tell anyone about their conduct, which Marzola described to the boy as a game.

Patricia Ann Tasker, of Hagerstown, Md., was sentenced by U.S. District Judge William M. Nickerson on Nov. 2 to 42 months in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release. Judge Nickerson also ordered that upon her release from prison, Tasker must register as a sex offender in the place where she resides, where she is an employee, and where she is a student, under SORNA.
