ERO Buffalo Honor Guard presents colors for NFL game in Buffalo

Frigid temperatures and snow gusts were no obstacle for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Buffalo honor guard team who presented the colors during the national anthem Sunday at the Buffalo Bills game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

“We are very proud of the commitment, hard work, and dedication that the honor guard regularly demonstrates. The honor guard represents the very best of our agency and our community,” said Michael Phillips, ERO Buffalo field office director. “We’re honored to showcase their incredible skills on such a vast platform.”

The honor guard is made up of five deportation officers. Their commitment to the honor guard is a collateral duty to which they dedicate their personal time outside of regular business hour to hone their skills, drilling two times a month to keep sharp.  The team regularly presents the colors at other events in the community including funerals, sporting events and law enforcement memorial services.
