ICE Director Saldaña discuss combating cyber crime with DOJ Assistant Attorney General for National Security

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Sarah R. Saldaña joined the U.S. Department of Justice Assistant Attorney General for National Security John P. Carlin and a panel of experts Sept. 23 in Huntsville, Alabama, to discuss combating national security cyber threats in collaboration with technology industry professionals.

The panel discussion, entitled “The Cyber Threat – How Industry and Law Enforcement Can Work Together,” was part of the 2015 Department of Justice Cybersecurity Summit, hosted by the U.S. Attorneys’ Office for the Northern District of Alabama.

Also participating on the panel were David J. Hickton, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania and Chair of the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee’s Subcommittee on Cybercrime and Intellectual Property; and Stephanie Yonekura, former Acting U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California.

U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama Joyce White Vance moderated the discussion.
