ICE statement on reports of ATD discrepancies

"U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) adheres strictly to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as do all federal agencies in the management and execution of federal contracts. ICE has reviewed all BI invoices and is unaware of any inaccuracies. Contracting staff are held to the highest standards and remain committed to ensuring accuracy and continuing to act as stewards of the taxpayer dollar.

"All contracts must comply with the standards set forth in the FAR. The contract for B.I. Inc is a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with potential value of $2.2 billion over the course of the contract comprising of one base year and four option years. Individual task orders are levied against the contract as warranted by the agency. Per the FAR, facilitation and oversight of the task orders and subsequent invoices are reviewed and approved by certified contracting officers (CO) and contracting officer representatives (COR) through the ICE Office of Acquisition Management and Enforcement and Removal Operations."
