Man from Mexico charged with illegal re-entry

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A citizen of Mexico was charged Wednesday with illegal re-entry into the United States. The investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Philadelphia.

David Aguilar-Araiza, 22, was charged in a one-count indictment. He was originally arrested and removed from the country in April 2012. He faces up to two years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

A defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until found guilty in court.
