Nicaraguan man charged with illegal re-entry
SCRANTON, Pa. — A Nicaraguan man was charged Tuesday with illegal re-entry into the United States. The investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Philadelphia.
Juan Carlos Tellar-Mendoza, 27, of Scranton, who was originally removed from the country in 2004, faces two years in prison if convicted.
A defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until found guilty in court.
