Readout from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement meeting with the CATO Institute

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement leadership met with representatives from the CATO Institute today. Transparency efforts between the federal government and non-governmental organizations is vital to providing an understanding and awareness of the agency’s operational policies and procedures. Ongoing dialog serves to increase the understanding of immigration operations while providing a baseline for further engagement.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement engages with stakeholders nationwide, including state, local, tribal, territorial governments, elected officials, and law enforcement, the private sector, faith-based organizations and colleges and universities.
