ICE New York City lodged an immigration detainer with the New York City Department of Corrections against the release of the illegal alien accused of mowing down a 16-year-old girl and her family in New York.

As part of operation Midway Blitz, in honor of Katie Abraham, ICE officers arrested on Sept. 15 a Larazo gang member who beat a 21-year-old to death in cold blood and was convicted of murder in 2005.

Officers with ICE Boston removed Albert George Davis, 59, from the United States to Jamaica Aug. 21 and turned him over to Jamaican authorities, who sought his arrest for the rape of a child in 2020.

ICE San Diego, in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Service and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations, arrested Ezequiel Cruz-Rodriguez a previously deported illegal alien with an extensive criminal history. Cruz, a documented member of the Logan Heights gang, was residing unlawfully in the United States with his partner, a Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipient who operates an in-home daycare.

Mehrzad Asadi Eidivand pleaded guilty to possessing firearms and ammunition and his wife, Linet Vartannivartanians, pleaded guilty to threatening federal law enforcement officers Aug. 21.

ICE arrested and plans to remove Phillip Harkins, a convicted murder and criminal illegal alien from Scotland, upon his release from the Florida Department of Corrections on Aug. 18.

Special agents from ICE Homeland Security Investigations working in partnership with officers from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department arrested an illegal 35-year-old Mexican alien who was previously charged with sex crimes against a Virginia child.

ICE arrested Raul Enrique Pargas Rodriquez, a 31-year-old alien and foreign fugitive from Venezuela, Aug. 14.

During the operation, ICE officers apprehended Oscar Alexis Martinez-Lopez, a Salvadoran illegal alien and suspected MS-13 gang member who was previously arrested in El Salvador for homicide, and Delfin Amaya-Peres, a Honduran illegal alien whose criminal record includes convictions for assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest in 2011.

An illegal alien Tren de Aragua gang member who is also a Venezuelan fugitive is in ICE custody following his arrest Aug. 20 in Albuquerque.

ICE Newark and CBP officers arrested a Brazilian alien whose tourist visa expired April 16, 2016, and who was illegally carrying a Smith & Wesson 9mm handgun, an airsoft gun and a large knife in his vehicle Aug. 9 in Cinnaminson.

ICE officers assigned to the Corpus Christi sub-office, in coordination with the FBI’s Corpus Christi Resident Office, arrested Ahmed Mohamed Yasser Salama, 35, a criminal illegal alien from Egypt Aug. 19.

ICE officers in Phoenix and Nogales deported prominent Mexican boxer and criminal illegal alien Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Aug. 18 through the Nogales, Arizona, Point of Entry.

Rolando Nava Pacheco, a 19-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, was charged in federal court Aug. 12 for assaulting a federal officer and damaging government property.

Jose De Santiago-Martinez, an illegal alien from Mexico, was sentenced to just four days for one count of driving under the influence and only 40 days for the other.

The operation, named Operation Broken Trust, saw officers from ICE Boston’s Hartford field office collaborate with the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to apprehend illegal alien offenders across the state of Connecticut.

On Aug. 12, ICE officers arrested Michael Kabiona and Noe Alberto Flores Sandoval — both convicted of heinous felonies against innocent children.

ICE San Diego officers arrested an illegal alien from Mexico Aug. 11 who has been deported from the United States twice and has a prior conviction for driving under the influence.
