The operation ran from July 12 to July 20 and resulted in the arrests of one alien wanted for murder, one wanted for human trafficking, five wanted for or convicted of sex related offenses (including sex assault and sexual exploitation of a minor), nine charged with or convicted of drug related offenses, 13 charged with or convicted of assault, eight charged with or convicted of theft charges (including burglary, robbery and motor vehicle theft) and 17 with charges or convictions related to driving under the influence.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations Philadelphia, in collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations Allentown and Drug Enforcement Administration Allentown arrested Yobani Bonilla-Bonilla, aka, Gilberto Perez-Alvarado, a 29-year-old citizen of Honduras in Easton, Pennsylvania June 14.

ICE Homeland Security Investigations Buffalo personnel, in coordination with United States Border Patrol, arrested an illegally present Cuban national with several criminal convictions, including sexual abuse of a child under age 11 and aggravated assault with a weapon.

ICE arrested 1,361 illegal aliens in the Houston area during the month of June who are currently charged with, or have been convicted of, a criminal offense after illegally entering the United States. Among the criminal aliens arrested were 32 aliens convicted of child sex offenses, 9 aliens convicted for homicide-related offenses, 16 documented members of a transnational gang or drug cartel, and one alien convicted for hijacking an airplane on its way to Key West from Cuba.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement Dallas apprehended Maria Julia Varela, a 36-year-old El Salvadoran national, with connections to MS-13 and Barrio 18 transnational gangs June 30.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement removed illegally present Guatemalan national Alvaro De Jesus Martinez-Juarez from the United States to Guatemala June 28. Martinez is a felon and predator convicted of acting in a course of sexual conduct against a child.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement removed Edgar Damian Sandoval-Albarran, also known as “La Rana,” a 39-year-old Mexican fugitive wanted in Mexico for the offense of organized crime and forced disappearance of persons, June 26.

An ICE Boston operation led to federal charges for an illegally present 32-year-old Salvadoran alien who was unlawfully residing in Lynn after having been previously deported. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts indicted Jose Leonardo Gutierrez-Mendez June 9 on one count of unlawful reentry of a deported alien.

ICE Dallas removed Joaquin Gallegos, a 33-year-old citizen of Mexico June 18 back to his country of origin.

On June 11, 2025, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations Philadelphia Allentown office and federal law enforcement partners served a Notice of Inspection at the Five 10 Flats apartment complex, 510 East 3rd Street, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

A federal grand jury indicted Paulo Vinicius Cardozo-Pereira June 9 charging him with one count of unlawful reentry of a deported alien. This indictment follows Cardozo-Pereira’s arrest by officers with ICE Boston May 10.

Officers with ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston working with agents from ICE Homeland Security Investigations New England, FBI Boston, and DEA New England apprehended Emilio Neftaly Pineda June 12 in Peabody.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts indicted Edwin Antonio Sanchez-Lara, 34, on one count of unlawful reentry of a deported alien.

ICE arrested Mexican national and convicted felon Juan Cruz-Gallegos pursuant to a warrant of arrest June 11, in Hudson, New York.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in a joint operation by the field offices of Homeland Security Investigations and Enforcement Removal Operations Tulsa, arrested Behkam Bahadorani, a 65-year-old citizen of Iran, June 11, adjacent to an apartment complex in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement removed Gerardo Nava-Benitez, a 30-year-old Mexican alien and Noroeste cartel member, June 10.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in Detroit arrested two criminal aliens in Detroit June 10. Ahmad Fareez Thabateh, 49, a Palestinian, and Kassim Saleh Wasil, 70, a Yemeni, who will remain in ICE custody pending removal from the United States.

The U.S. Border Patrol arrested Ergashev near San Luis, Arizona, on Feb. 14, 2023, for entering the United States without inspection or parole by an immigration official.
